Whimsical sculpture by Barbara Dunshee

I decided to see what I could do with a lighter mood of expression on some smaller faces. These quickly took on a carnival feel and demanded a spot more color.

EJP Creations Blog -writing beautiful things

EJP Creations has featured my "Steampunk Monk" sculpture on her blog. That's what inititally brought me to read about "Her Work and Her Musings". Once there I feasted on her visual selections and verbally delish enticements of other artists' works. Equally intriguing is her own work, delicate and dangerous wearables. Explore!

Kobo at Higo to display Barbara Dunshee sculptures

"Hero" by Barbara Dunshee
Immature ceramic, milk paint, wood
18" tall x 7" wide x 7" deep

My sculpture is now on display at the fantastic Kobo at Higo, in a window that faces Jackson Street in the International District of Seattle. Walk the International District ArtWalk, Saturday August 15th, 5-8pm (live music 6:30-7:30pm) and see for yourself!
Anybody who knows either of the Kobo locations knows they show an array of amazing works, ceramics and all things desirable, including modern hip pop and traditional treasures. They are worth many visits.
